In a landmark achievement for international educational collaboration, EIN Africa has secured a major global partnership following the signing of a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between a Chinese government-affiliated agency and renowned Nigerian education consultant and development strategist, Dr. Adebare Egunjobi.
In a rare and historic milestone in the annals of bilateral cooperation, EIN Africa has secured a major international partnership following the signing of a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between a Chinese government-affiliated agency and Nigerian education consultant and development strategist, Dr. Adebare Egunjobi.
The agreement officially appoints Dr. Egunjobi as a strategic partner in promoting China–Nigeria cooperation in education, technology, vocational development, youth empowerment and cultural exchange.
A key aspect of the partnership includes facilitating educational exchange programmes that will enable Nigerian school administrators, education stakeholders and students to visit China for professional training, institutional exposure and strategic collaboration with Chinese educational institutions.
The partnership will also provide opportunities for Nigerian youths to receive training in Chinese language studies alongside six skill areas aimed at improving employability, entrepreneurship and global competitiveness.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, both parties will collaborate on initiatives designed to strengthen educational sustainability, encourage employment generation, create business opportunities and enhance capacity development between Nigeria and China over the next five years.
Earlier in her official correspondence, the Secretary General of the China–Nigeria Industry–Education Consortium, Ms. Wendy Wang, expressed the organisation's admiration for the remarkable achievements of EIN Africa and its commitment to educational transformation in Nigeria.
The China–Nigeria Industry–Education Consortium was formally launched in September 2024 with the endorsement and support of both the Chinese and Nigerian governments. The organisation brings together leading institutions, including the Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology and the Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone, alongside more than 100 Chinese manufacturing companies operating within Nigeria.
The agreement represents a transformational step toward strengthening educational sustainability, enhancing workforce development, creating employment opportunities, encouraging entrepreneurship, and deepening strategic cooperation between Nigeria and China over the next five years.
Through this partnership, Nigerian schools, teachers, students and young professionals will gain unprecedented access to international exposure, vocational training, educational exchanges, cutting-edge technologies and globally recognised capacity-building programmes that will position them competitively within the international education ecosystem.
Congratulations to Dr. Adebare Egunjobi and the entire EIN Africa Team for this laudable and well-deserved international recognition. This landmark partnership further reinforces EIN Africa's growing reputation as one of Africa's leading organisations in educational innovation, international collaboration, teacher development and institutional capacity building.
