SGI 2025 ATTRACTS SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS FROM 20 STATES AND THE FCT
The just concluded SGI Conference which was held at Ilaji Resorts, Ibadan attracted over 200 school owners and administrators from more than 20 states of the Federation and the FCT!
SGI Conference has become a mecca of a sort for all school owners and administrators in Nigeria who are seeking to sharpen their skills in school Administration in the 21st Century context.
SGI 2025: PARTICIPANTS SCORE ORGANISERS HIGH
The last definitely have not been heard of SGI 2025 as the participants are still reliving the unforgettable experience at the Conference.
In a feedback assessment of the event, the over 200 participants scored the organisers on 10 major items that capture the entire programme delivery. The average score stood at all time high of 9/10 for the all 10 parameters that were assessed.
ICSA STUDENTS GET NEW GRADUATION DATE
August 14 has been finally fixed as the graduation ceremony date for International College of School Administration ICSA for year 2025.
The ceremony which comes with induction and investiture will cater for all pending graduates for 2024/2025 academic session.
EIN LAUNCHES EINAFRICA WEBSITE
In further pursuit of the repositioning agenda of the organization, EIN Educational Services has launched a new website under the name EINAfrica.
The website seeks to project the activities of the organization in African continent to all the stakeholders globally. The user friendly website is a one-stop shop for everything education in Africa!
ONLINE CPD DECENTRALIZES INTO 40 ONLINE ROOMS
After the massive success of the maiden edition of online CPD which attracted over 40,000 views within one month, the programme has been further expanded to cover all the 36 states of the Federation and the FCT with three anglophone West African countries.
It is expected that at the end of the training programme, African teachers will be able to benchmark best practices in the 21st Century teaching methodologies.
EGUNJOBI BREAKS SILENCE ON CTTC LEVEL 2
Following the testimonies that followed the Level 1of CTTC across all the states of the Federation, the Lead Facilitator for the course, Dr AdebareEgunjobi has announced that Level 2 shall be released during the Easter holiday for maximum learning experience of all concerned.
MEGA STAKEHOLDERS SUMMIT TO HOLD ON TEACH AND WIN SEASON 2
After what appeared like an unending lull, the Project Director of Teach and Win Nigeria has finally broken the ice on the largest teaching competition in Africa.
In a press release which was made available to our crew, he said “In furtherance of our commitment to rewarding competence, passion and professionalism in the teaching profession, I am glad to announce that there will a mega stakeholders summit to discuss the modalities and peculiarities of Season 2 Teach and Win. The date shall be announced in due course”
He concluded by stating that the stakeholders that are expected at the summit include the Season 2 registered teachers, registered school owners/administrators, National Representatives, State Representatives, LG Representatives, Central Planning Committee members, Season 1 housemates and sponsors.
WHY MORE SCHOOLS ARE ADOPTING CHINESE LANGUAGE INTO THEIR CURRICULUM
In a media chat with our correspondents, the Lead Facilitator for Chinese Language Programme, Mr Bolu has explained the reason behind the sudden and surging interest in Chinese language in many African schools.
According to him, China is Africa’s largest trading partner and a significant investor, with investments and trade reaching a record $282 billion in 2023!
This is massive and has brought about a huge labour need for Chinese translators and interpreters in many countries in Africa in construction, aviation, mining, hospitality, agriculture and other vital industries. Any student who can speak, read and write Chinese characters can never be jobless in the current competitive labour market.
The demand for Chinese speakers in African countries far the supply and that is why Chinese speaking Africans will continue to be hot cake all over the world for decades to come!
He concluded by saying that there are thirteen countries in the world where Chinese Language is spoken and that Chinese language is the most widely spoken language by the highest number of people in the world, with over 1.7 billion speakers!
More than 21% of the whole world speaks the Chinese language!
